The symposium, in partnership with UCD, NCAD and IAF, will examine how exhibitions can communicate not just literal and concrete properties but also the invisible, and even the intangible qualities of architecture.

“Of books and buildings” is a programme for young people supporting the exhibition of de Blacam and Meagher at Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane. Families and children are invited to explore the themes of the exhibition through a series of creative workshops and activities. All events are specifically designed with young people in mind and are led by an experienced team of architects and artists.
